Proseguono i collaudi del’Etr400 Frecciarossa1000, il nuovo treno ad Alta Velocità delle Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane. Novità per la trazione nel settore Cargo di Trenitalia. Sono giunte in Italia, e già in servizio dagli inizi di marzo, le prime due locomotive Siemens classe ES64 E189, precisamente le E189.108 e 932, noleggiate dalla società del Gruppo FS Italiane presso la tedesca MRCE.
